Director of Finance

The Director of Finance is the head position of Finance in the company, reporting to the President and to the CFO of the global group. The position is responsible for planning and the implement of systems and processes to improve the growth and profitability of the North America business unit and global company.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Work location is in Mooresville NC
• Oversee the financial status of the company and its compliance with laws, regulations, and ethics.
• Report to the President and the group headquarter on deviations from budget, highlight potential risks, and raise flags on cash flow issues.
• Be a positive role member as part of the company’s leadership team, works in close partnership with the US management team members and Finance team in HQ in order to achieve the group's goals.
• Lead efficiency programs in the company and verify the enforcement of company policies.
• Be the POC for legal matters related to the North America division and work closely with the company’s legal team in resolving, securing and maintain low risk legal environment.
• Manage the company’s assets, including funds, employees benefit programs and physical assets.
• Audit biweekly payroll reports and confirm accuracy of federal, quarterly and YE tax reports filed by payroll company.
• Provide financial analysis as needed, for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations, etc. Report on significant deviations from budget, noted trends and pricing issues to the president.
• Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings including NEXUS reporting requirements.
• Develop financial and tax strategies to limit the North America division tax exposure.
• Manage the capital request and budgeting processes from company HQ and Local needs.
• Support growth related to Strategic Plans with positive input, potential strategies and needs.

Education and Experience Needed

• BS of Accounting required and/or MBA - CPA is a must.
• Experience of US GAAP or/and IFRS
• Quantitative Reasoning
• Supervisor role of 3+ individuals for a minimum of 3 years
• Ability to work well with others, meet tight deadlines, and management of work schedule
• Deep knowledge of Excel and proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint
• SAP ERP Expertise
• 5-7 yrs of related experience – must include 2+ yrs. in public accounting.

• Occasional local and international travel and active passport required with no limitations.
