Available shifts: DAYS Tuesday - Friday 8AM-10PM

Now Hiring: Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) for Pediatric Private Duty Nursing (San Antonio and surrounding areas)

Objective: Responsible for providing direct patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse, utilizing the clinical and cognitive skills specified in the LVN Skills Inventory record, including specialized and expanded skills, exhibiting broad nursing knowledge and the ability to manage and communicate effectively with the healthcare team, parents and Adaptive team. .

Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the patient served.

Job Duties:
- Provide skilled nursing care to pediatric patients in home setting and/or adult skilled visits including IV therapy
- Help develop and implement plan of care to ensure quality and continuity of care for pediatric patient
- Provide health education to patient and/or caregiver
- Provide effective communication to patient/family, team members and other health care professionals

Job Requirements:
- Current CPR Card
- Active/ Valid Texas Nursing License as a Licensed Vocation Nurse (LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN)
- Must have a minimum of 6 months of pediatric nursing experience
- Trach and Ventilator experience a plus but willing to train
- Pass pediatric nursing test and skills credentialing
- Provide proof of liability insurance
- Home care experience preferred
