Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

The Email & SMS/MMS Marketing Manager at Global is responsible for designing and implementing direct email and SMS/MMS marketing strategies to promote a wide variety of products, engage with customers, achieve, and keep track of revenue targets. This role involves a blend of creative, analytical, and technical skills to create and drive campaigns that resonate with target audiences, drive conversions, and enhance customer loyalty.


HYBRID SCHEDULE:

WFH: Monday & Friday's (9:00 AM - 6:00 PM)

In Office: Tuesday - Thursday (9:00 AM - 6:00 PM)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Design, implement, and manage email, SMS, and MMS marketing campaigns providing all copy and strategy with the support of third part e-commerce partners (for example but not limited to, Sparkart, & Main Factor). These should be delivered in a timely manner according to due dates in Asana, sans several follow ups.
  • Track usage and spend against budgets in Klaviyo ensuring we stay within monthly contractual budgets and not over what is agreed upon.
  • Analyze campaign performance and suggest optimizations in addition to presenting in-depth monthly reports on wins and losses for Global.
  • Segment email and mobile lists for targeted campaigns.
  • Develop A/B testing strategies for both email and mobile messages and report findings.
  • Coordinate with the Marketing Manager and internal team to define data opportunities and integrated promotions and execute accordingly.
  • Make sure all strategy campaigns comply with legal regulations and best practices.
  • Continual optimization of automation Klaviyo flows within active stores as well as identifying newer automations.
  • Stay updated on trends and technologies in email and mobile marketing and contribute to brainstorms with innovative ideas as they see fit.
  • Manage data hygiene – scrubbing accounts for bots/inactive users at least every quarter.
  • Ensure that all RSE emails are being properly duplicated for the UK sans typos/grammatical errors and other mailers where applicable on a case-by-case basis and at the store managers discretion.
  • Role responsibilities are subject to change.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Should have at least +4 years of email marketing (D2C) experience and +2 with HTML coding, building email campaigns, and with using MailChimp, Klaviyo and/or other email platforms.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in being able to communicate with internal departments (brand/store managers, e-commerce team, etc.)
  • Deep understanding of all aspects of email marketing including business strategy, creative development, deliverability, testing and optimization, database segmentation, data analytics, mobile optimization, and other compliance regulations
  • Manages multiple aspects of email delivery, including campaign strategy, development of creative briefs, subject lines, audience segmentation, creative review, and email deployment.
  • Basic understanding of digital trends/pop cultural references
  • Provides leadership and collaborates with key players to align the email program with brand’s overall customer experience and brand strategy.
  • Accountable for quality execution and timeliness of all email projects and campaigns along with the improvement of Campaign effectiveness through A/B and multivariate testing to produce actionable learnings.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to talk or hear in order to give and receive information and instructions.
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands to type, handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
  • Ability to reach with hands and arms.
  • Ability to use computer keyboard up to 80% of the day.
  • Visual acuity, ability to adjust focus and peripheral vision for work on a laptop or other computer equipment.
  • Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
