PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Draft pleadings, memos, motions and correspondence
• Trial preparation
• Comply with and propound discovery
• Mediation preparation
• Correspond with clients, experts, and other law firms
• Maintain and/or create binders for hearings, depositions and trial
• Prepare settlement statements
• Litigation case management
• Perform investigative searches
• Conduct various searches and queries on the internet
• Meet with clients
• Scheduling of depositions and hearings
• Coordination with court reporting companies
• Coordinate with outside sources to obtain photos, enlargements and/or trial exhibits
• Review and analyze motions
• Perform additional duties as assigned

• Bachelor's Degree, preferred
• 2+ years of paralegal experience, first-party property damage experience, required on the plaintiff side
• Excellent communication, customer service, interpersonal, organizational, decision-making, relationship building and negotiation skills
• Prior experience with Litify a plus and e-filing systems in state and federal courts
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
