The Opportunity
As a part of the America’s team, SANY is looking to recruit a driven, forward-thinking, and highly motivated Paralegal Contract Administrator. With the deep investment and backing of SANY Group, the Americas business is expected to grow significantly in the coming years. Critical to this growth is the recruitment of a high-quality Paralegal Contract Administrator, who is responsible for overseeing the creation and completion of our Dealer & Customer contracts. You will be responsible for developing, interpreting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing contracts on behalf of SANY to ensure proper rights and protections are in place. You will be required to verify data once the contracts are returned, and fully executed to ensure it is filed properly in our system.
With current revenues just short of $1B, SANY America continues to make strong progress and significant investments in the Americas market; the organization is now pursuing an aggressive growth strategy and is looking to move quickly beyond this initial platform and increase their market share. This role will require a leader who is forward-thinking, entrepreneurial, and motivated to seize the opportunity to represent and grow a respected global brand in the Americas market.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with Sales and Senior Management on all levels of the company to analyze and determine a comprehensive contract strategy.
- Designing standardized language and guidelines for contracts to reduce dependency on outside counsel.
- Reviewing contracts for compliance with language guidelines.
- Manage contract term notices and appropriate renewal notifications.
- Collaborating with internal procurement, legal, human resources, and any other impacted teams to ensure contracts are compliant.
- Sharing and clarifying contract processes, conditions and details with management, business partners and employees.
- Obtaining contract-related information from relevant parties.
- Support Legal Affairs Executive during negotiations on contract terms and conditions with internal and external business partners.
- Ensuring timely and accurate contract review and approval processes are followed.
- Reviewing contracts, verifying accuracy, and resolving discrepancies in line with company rules and guidelines.
- Ensuring relevant documentation accompanying contracts and maintaining digital and hard copies of relevant documentation.
- Liaising between parties regarding contract development, and negotiations regarding terms and conditions, and drafting and revising changes as required.
- Identifying potential risks contract changes may pose to SANY in a written contract summary.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Professional Paralegal certification.
- 7-10+ years of related experience.
- 3-5 years in large law firm.
- Proficient knowledge of legal requirements pertaining to relevant contracts.
- Experienced with Contract Management System (LinkSquares).
- SAP/ERP experience preferred.
- Proficient skills in MS Office Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Advance skills in MS-Word to perform compare documents and redline track changes.
- Outstanding organizational skills.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal. -Excellent reading and comprehension skills.
- Proficient ability to detect errors and inconsistencies.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, mathematics, accounting or economics, master's degree preferred.
- Paralegal certificate preferred.
TRAVEL
- 15% potential travel expectations.
COMPENSATION
Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience. It will include a base salary, an annual performance bonus, and other exceptional benefits.
