Commercial Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance and upkeep of our commercial properties located throughout Charleston, Mount Pleasant, and West Ashley. The ideal candidate will have experience in general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of buildings and grounds.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks on commercial properties such as painting, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work
• Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify and address maintenance issues
• Respond to requests for repairs and maintenance in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed
• Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and building codes
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Assist with landscaping as needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in property maintenance or related field
• Strong knowledge of general maintenance and repair work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must possess good working knowledge of OSHA standards
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
