Sea Mar Community Health Centers is hiring for three open positions in the accounting department, located in South Park, Seattle. All positions are full-time and in-person. Please see the details below and apply using the links given in the description. 

Senior Accountant

• Salary Range: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 (DOE)
• Responsibilities: Prepares general ledger information, financial statements, statistical reports, variance analysis reports, and overhead expense allocation. They will assist in an annual financial audit, including preparation of audit schedules. The candidate must be able to compile, interpret, and utilize information.
• Qualifications and Education: Familiarity with accounting software and PC spreadsheets, ten key by touch, accredited four-year college with a degree in business or accounting, and a minimum of five years’ experience as a GL or financial statement accountant, CPA certificate holder preferred.

Staff Accountant II

• Salary Range:  $65,000 - $75,000 (DOE)
• Responsibilities: Invoicing of grants, reporting to various agencies, recording cash receipts, and assistance in the preparation of financial and statistical reports. They will perform statistical analysis, compile, interpret, and utilize information, and resolve accounting irregularities.
• Qualifications and Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and a minimum of three years’ experience in general accounting, Ten key calculator by touch. PC spreadsheet and word processing experience.
  • Equivalent experience and a 2 year degree may be substituted in lieu of a 4 year degree.

Grant Accountant

• Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000 (DOE)
• Responsibilities: Primary focus on federal, state, county, and city grant financial reporting and management.  The Grant Accounting Coordinator’s primary responsibility is coordinating compliance and reporting requirements among the various Sea Mar departments that receive specific grant funding.
• Qualifications and Education: Practical knowledge of GAAP and thorough knowledge and understanding of financial systems and internal financial controls, Bachelor degree with more than three years grants administration experience. Minimum two years’ experience demonstrating increased complexity and responsibility, preferably in a mid-size to large organization (public accounting or non-profit)
