Senior Systems Solution Developer / Senior ERP Solutions Developer

The hybrid technical role part software development and part ERP development with great understanding of integrations between various Business Systems.

Working closely with the Director of Business Applications for SEW and business leads (Finance, Sales, Operations, IT, Legal, Analytics, and HR) supporting the European and North American Offices.

Supporting initiatives for all business systems operations involving all the corporate enterprise applications managed by the team and ensuring that all staff and support teams have received required business performance and customer satisfaction.

Being part of business systems process management, ensuring commitments are met in providing a high-quality and cost-effective business systems program that meets the expectations of the company.

(Become the Technical Lead for the team with primary focus around the Hulft, PEGA and SAP S4 products.)

• Hulft – EAI tool, to aide integration (ETL) and interface (EventBus) between all the BusSys Products and Processes. The main tool the Developer will have responsibility over to be used as a interface tool to connect our data to other parts of the business or ingest data we need for our own processing to support our business users.

• PEGA – Orchestration and Decision Making tool, low code app, surfacing data and processes for review/approval of business users. There are several critical applications existing inside PEGA that aide with business process management. The role will be the Technical Dev leading any internal developments using the product, but also being the technical co-ordinator working our ExternalDevs to ensure that the solution meets our needs from a technical perspective including any security or infrastructure needs.

• Unit4ERP/SAP S4 – ERP tool, where critical business data and financial data reside, the role would support our functional/application leads/teams in the management of the system from a technical perspective.

Typical Day

• Review health checks for the key products.
• Work on Technical bugs/issues coming from any support and maintenance queries, active services.
• Work with the BusSys BA in scoping requirements for any internal developments.
• Provide technical feedback, review technical docs and/or participate in meetings with External Devs
• Provide technical guidance/support to the application team and business users around BusSys products and services

Requirements

• Technical lead on all Business Systems related projects, system upgrades, and updates. Being the technical partner for various systems and services connected to the ERP, especially PEGA and Hulft.

• Supporting the initiatives managed by the Business Systems teams around the operations and change management strategy.

• Offering key business decision makers appropriate support and advice in business process development.

• Work closely with wider IT teams to ensure secure infrastructure and service support to all business users.

• Working closely with the Business Systems Business Analyst, wider colleagues in SE Japan (Business Applications Development team), and external partners.

• Involved in integration developments with all corporate departments using business data to make decisions.

Essential Knowledge & Experience:

• Proven background in Software/Application Development, management, and maintenance across a multi-client and location environment.
• Developed and released solutions interfacing systems using EDI and/or ETL with various EAI tools.
• Managed an MS SQL environment and can create queries, views, and stored procedures.

Desirable:

• 2-3 years’ experience using ERP systems, PEGA, Hulft and or Blue Prism.
• A very good grasp of accounting principles and sales concepts.
• Involved in several migrations including ERP changes or major business data migrations from multiple sources.
• Knowledge of Logistical processes specifically stock management.
• Awareness of MySQL methodology
• Used or aware of several business applications used in the management of business data across multiple services.
• Keeping up to date with the latest technologies, such as cloud-based ERP environments and 2FA security.
• A logical, flexible approach with an attention to detail.
• Use Webservices and Public REST APIs
• Awareness of .NET framework / ML.Net techniques
• Publishing of Web Applications

Competencies, Skills & Attributes:

• Working experience using (PEGA, Blue Prism platforms) SQL and Microsoft Data Servers Tools like SSMS, Profiler, SSIS, and SSRS.
• Understanding in the concepts of data warehousing and organization management.
• Continuously reviews business systems processes searching for improvements and a desire to find efficiencies and savings.

Annual Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 base
