Job DescriptionCompany Description
We are seeking an Attorney to become a part of our team and work on a diverse range of cases. The ideal candidate is capable of working independently and problem solving. The candidate should have experience in civil litigation and be familiar with the Florida Rules of Civil Procedure. Although courtroom experience is a plus, it is not required. This is a live, in person position at a civil litigation law firm located in the heart of Coral Gables, Florida.
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in court or before government agencies
- Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients
- Advise clients on business and legal transactions
- Negotiate settlements for legal disputes
- Comply with all legal standards and regulations
- Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law
Qualifications:
- Florida Bar license
- Previous experience in law
- Previous litigation experience
- Familiarity with various legal documents
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
