Job Description
Home Helpers of Olney in Montgomery County is looking for passionate and caring CNAs that can start immediately. We are a part of a 27-year-old franchise that is eager to grow our team by offering a stable career path to compassionate Caregivers who provide one-on-one in-home companion care and daily living assistance to the elderly and those requiring recuperative or continuing care. Shift: Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 8:30am - 4:30pm (24 hours per week)
Qualifications:

Qualifications:
- Current CNA license
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- At least 3 years of experience in the field
- Must have valid drivers license and auto insurance
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have good oral and written communication skills
- Must be able to understand care plans and assessments
- Must have current doctors health clearance to work which includes a negative TB test
- Personal Care (Bathing, dressing, and transfer)
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping
- Monitor and report physical and behavioral changes
- Assist with medication reminders
- Exercise with the client
- Engage the client in conversation
