ADF Engineering is looking for a Project Manager to become a part of our team of engineers and designers at our Decatur, Illinois offices.

The successful candidate for this position will work on time and cost sensitive projects in a multi-disciplinary, team-based environment to provide customer-focused engineering consulting services. The successful candidate for this position must have the ability to develop positive working relationships with industrial customers to provide cost-effective solutions to their engineering needs.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor of Science Degree in Process/Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering or Architectural Engineering is required. A Master of Science Degree in Engineering, Managment, and/or an MBA are a plus.

10+ years of relevant experience required
Direct customer contact and customer relations
Current Professional Engineer (PE) license and/or PMP are preferred
Excellent writing abilities including proposals and project reports.

Experience in the following areas is preferred:

Consulting engineering
Inter-disciplinary teams
Construction Management
Retrofitting & expanding existing industrial facilities
Equipment replacement
New industrial plant facilities & process engineering
Piping, conveyors, boilers & heat processes, pumps, tanks, foundations, separators

Additional Preferred Knowledge & Experience
Agra-business, Pharmaceuticals, Oilseeds, biofuels, Powder and Bulk material handling
Pet food, animal feed, Utilities
