Production Supervisor

Description

The Production Supervisor will oversee the production's daily operations. This person will provide leadership, direction, and training to all team members. This position requires an in-depth knowledge of production procedures and possesses the ability to motivate team members to meet the organization's expectations and goals.

Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities:
•Be a hands-on team player who is willing to jump in at any time to ensure customer satisfaction is met.
•Set standards of appearance and customer service expectations.
•Daily tracking of performance KPIs and report to management. (DPR).
•Ensure all OSHA standards are being met and adhered to.
•Develop and maintain an accurate preventative maintenance program on production equipment.
•Evaluate performance and provide coaching and guidance when needed.
•Ensure the organization's expectations for quality, productivity, and safety are being met.
•Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
•Motivate your team and maintain a customer-centric mindset.
•Additional tasks and responsibilities as needed.
•Develop Process Improvements.
•Ensure Process adherence- Production builds.
•Ensure Inventory Management Protocol adherence. (Bin locations and transfers).
•Ensure all safety rules are followed and implement new safety guidelines as needed.
•Make sure quality standards are met for all projects.
•Coordination of staff assigned to daily projects.
•Instructing and training employees on new projects and procedures.
•Responsible for ensuring the department meets daily productivity goals.
•Conduct time studies.
•Responsible for the general organization of the manufacturing department.
•Responsible for building the daily production schedule.
•Manage Daily Production Schedule.
•Conduct Q/A Inspection on all inbound raw materials.
•Ensure Completed Assemblies are barcoded with the correct part number and qty.

Qualifications

•Previous management experience in a production environment, DDI ERP, and WMS is a plus.
•Proven ability to lead a team and work under high-stress situations.
•Works efficiently and manages time effectively.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
