Job Title: Director, Financial Planning and Analysis
Location: Phoenix, AZ (Relocation package is available for out of state candidates)
Schedule: FT in-office, 1 day/week WFH
Salary: DOE , Competitive base plus bonus & equity and benefits package
Overview:
The Director of Financial Planning and Analysis will be the primary finance partner to the Executive Leadership Team. The director will act as a strategic partner overseeing the FP&A process, including the annual budget, monthly forecasting, and ad-hoc management reporting while providing value-added support and analysis to leadership across the organization in the effective data-driven decision making process.
Responsibilities:
- Manage FP&A processes including: annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, month-end management reporting, and strategic planning process.
- Consolidate financial results and projections to understand bank-wide performance drivers; calculate and predict key financial line items and present budget & forecast packages.
- Drive value through in-depth analysis and present findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
- Leverage data and technology resources to aggregate and report financial information related to forecasting, budgeting, and analysis into a cohesive message for executives
- Identify and implement improvements to FP&A infrastructure, policies, and procedures.
- Manage, lead and develop team direct report - Senior Financial Analyst
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree required
- MBA or Masters in related business field preferred
- CPA or CFA preferred
- 15+ years of Corporate FP&A in F500 or large private bank or related experience in large financial institution
- Prior team leadership and project management experience required
- Expert in funds transfer pricing, margin, and spreads as it relates to bank profitability
- Strong knowledge of banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management, and other commercial banking products and services
- Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to executive leadership team
