615 Ventures is a Nashville-based investment firm that creates value primarily through the acquisition and management of real estate nationwide. We currently own and manage 450,000 SF of retail, office, industrial, and residential space in 6 different US markets. Currently, we are focused on the acquisition of long-term, NNN commercial assets, but also have land for build-to-suit opportunities as well as a few commercial redevelopment projects in the pipeline. While we are focused in the greater Nashville area, we underwrite deals in nearly all 48 contiguous US states.

The opportunity

Developer.com is in the process of launching a brand-new website to inform, entertain, and support top-tier real estate developers. To spearhead this exciting venture, we are seeking an experienced and visionary Managing Editor to build and lead a team of editorial professionals. This will be an opportunity to develop a new brand from the ground up and have a loud voice in the direction of a high-value web property.

What you'll do

  • Recruit, hire, and manage a skilled team of content creators, writers, and digital specialists
  • Foster a collaborative and creative environment that encourages innovation and excellence
  • Oversee the development of high-quality, engaging, and informative content for the website, email newsletters and social media channels
  • Create and execute a content strategy aligned with the company's vision and goals
  • Lead the website development process from inception to launch, working closely with web engineers and designers
  • Ensure the website's design, layout, and functionality align with the company's brand and user experience objectives
  • Develop and implement SEO strategies to optimize the website's visibility and search engine ranking
  • Devise and execute a monetization strategy for the website, exploring opportunities such as sponsored content, partnerships, and advertising
  • Analyze market trends to identify and capitalize on revenue-generating opportunities
  • Implement strategies to enhance user engagement, encourage user-generated content, and foster a vibrant online community
  • Monitor and respond to user feedback, ensuring a positive and interactive online experience
  • Utilize analytics tools to track website performance, user behavior, and key performance indicators
  • Generate regular reports on website traffic, content engagement, and revenue metrics
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in commercial real estate
  • Apply insights to continuously improve the brand's engagement with its audience


Who you are
  • Minimum of 2 years in an editorial leadership role
  • Minimum of 5 years in the publishing industry
  • Proven experience in web content creation and management and digital marketing, preferably in the real estate industry
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • In-depth knowledge of content creation, SEO, digital marketing, and website analytics
  • Familiarity with web development processes and content management systems (especially Wordpress)
  • Demonstrated ability to drive traffic and engagement on digital platforms
  • Proven track record of successful website monetization strategies
  • Agile professional who excels in a fast-paced environment and thrives on continuously pivoting strategies to drive business needs forward

Salary Range
TechnologyAdvice seeks to hire top-tier individuals across the world and intends for our compensation to be at a rate that allows us to recruit and retain individuals who align with our core values, purpose, mission, and vision.

Final total compensation is based on a multitude of factors including, but not limited to, skill level, relevant experience to the position, and cost of labor.

Annual pay range

$80,000-$130,000 USD
