Manufacturing Engineer

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be recognized as a key manufacturing technology leader within the organization. You will be responsible for the Root Cause analysis and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.

You will employ your experience in statistical analysis utilizing Six-Sigma (DMAIC) principals for the support of existing and the introduction of new manufacturing processes in this companies high-mix low volume discrete manufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities

· Employ Continuous Improvement techniques (i.e., LEAN, Six-Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, DMAIC, Kaizen or similar techniques) to drive identify maximum customer acceptance and satisfaction.

· Work with manufacturing leadership to identify and resolve manufacturing and quality problems related to methods, processes, tooling, equipment and product design

· Monitor and improve productivity using Lean Six Sigma or related tools, while ensuring all customer commitments are met in a timely, quality and cost-conscious manner

· Participate in early focus on manufacturability in New Product Introductions and/or Advanced Technology programs, driving rigor in process capability assessment, process layout, tooling and equipment development, and Quality Management System Design Transfer execution

· Drive LEAN manufacturing implementation

Qualifications

· Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related

· Experience in production and manufacturing environments.

· Familiar with quality assurance and testing methods

· Demonstrated trouble shooting, analytical and planning skills

Plusses

· Six-sigma DMAIC certified

· Experience in Process Intensive manufacturing

· Product and Process Development experience
