Job description


Manufacturing Engineering Technician
This is an exciting opportunity to join a Global, industry leading company. The Manufacturing Engineering Tech will review maintenance and calibration schedules, coordinate with vendors, and ensure production equipment is operational and compliant. Additionally, you’ll be asked to troubleshoot issues, perform IOPQ testing, support R&D and manufacturing engineers with experiments or prototypes, and coordinate facility-related tasks.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide engineering support by troubleshooting equipment, performing IOPQ testing, building prototypes, and assisting with process improvements.
  • Deliver facilities support by coordinating infrastructure projects, managing preventive maintenance and calibrations, and ensuring equipment and systems are compliant and operational.
  • Offer manufacturing support by assisting production teams as needed, resolving equipment issues, and maintaining smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with R&D, manufacturing engineers, and third-party vendors to ensure projects and site initiatives are executed efficiently.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and operational efficiency by identifying technical solutions, optimizing processes, and supporting compliance initiatives.
Requirements and Desired Experience:
  • Minimum: Associate degree or equivalent coursework in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Life Sciences, or related technical field.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related scientific/technical discipline.
  • Work Experience: Work in manufacturing
  • 1–5 years of hands-on technical experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience troubleshooting and maintaining production equipment and instruments
  • Prior experience in regulated environments (cGMP, ISO, FDA) is preferred.
Pay Range (Based on Experience & Qualifications): $30 - $33 per hour
