Paralegal- Litigation

Stark & Stark has an opening in our Hamilton office for an experienced Paralegal to join our team.  The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit and be self-directed and detailed-oriented with the ability to organize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

Responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and drafting discovery demands and responses, and other legal documents.
• Correspondence and communication with defense counsel, clients, and others relevant parties.
• Managing project timelines, and performing legal research
• Working with clients, addressing issues as to medical treatment and temporary disability. 
• Preparing cases for court, limited drafting pleadings, discovery demands and responses and other legal documents.
• Trial preparation.

Qualifications:

• Experience in Plaintiff’s Personal Injury matters REQUIRED, with practical knowledge of litigation in Personal Injury, for example, auto and truck accident, medical malpractice, nursing home, etc.…
• Detail oriented.
• The individual should be well organized and able to see an assignment through to completion when given proper direction.
• The right candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience.
• A comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office is REQUIRED.
• Ability to read, write and speak in Spanish is a plus.
• Paralegal Certificate or associate degree required.
