Summary/Objective

The Executive Vice President (EVP) of Sales is a pivotal executive role responsible for spearheading the sales strategy and driving business growth throughout the United States. This position requires a proactive leader to innovate sales processes, nurture key customer relationships, and champion a culture of success and integrity within the sales department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans that align with corporate goals.
  • Lead mentor and support the sales team in identifying new opportunities and closing deals efficiently.
  • Manage and enhance customer relationships to shorten the sales cycle reduce cost of acquisition and increase customer lifetime
    value.
  • Revamp sales presentations and processes to improve business efficiencies.
  • Provide analytical sales forecasts and reports for executive management to review.


Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in direct sales and 5 years in a management role preferably within the utility or municipal services industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a sales team with a track record of achieving substantial revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills with a strong ability to drive strategic sales initiatives.
  • Proven expertise in enhancing sales processes and operational efficiencies.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the “core” work hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and must work 37.5 hours each week to maintain full time status. Extended hours may be required based on the business need.

Travel

This role does require travel based on what is needed to be successful in this position. Currently clients, direct reports and executive teammates are located throughout the Midwest, Southwest and North portions of the United States.
