Position Summary: Perform general painting, finishing, coating and small sheetrock repair on Casino and Hotel facilities. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Plaza's Company standards, policies, and procedures.

Essential Functions:

• Assist painters in assigned work.
• Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
• Use riggings, hoist, ladders, scaffolding, lifts and other various equipment used in painting.
• Repair and finish drywall for painting.
• Erect scaffolding, ladders and lifts.
• Correct protect surfaces adjacent to paint spraying areas.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Knowledge of safety procedures for working on ladders, scaffolds and lifts.
• Must be able to calculate scaffold loads, area load, live loads, concentrated loads, and cantilevered loads.
• Must be able to safely operate and maintain all paint equipment.
• Must be able to properly use, care, and maintenance for/or equipment used in painting trade.
• Must be able to use hand and power tools safely.
• Must know how to correctly store and maintain brushes and rollers.
• Must know how to select brushes, rollers, pads, mitts and other related accessories for applying paint.
• Must know how to correctly protect surfaces adjacent to paint spraying areas.

Physical Requirements:

• Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.
• Tasks performed from a non-sitting position.
• Work entails trained chemical usage.
• Team Members will be required to stand, walk, lift, reach, push, pull and grasp.

Work Conditions:

Work is typically in an area, which may be unusually hot, cold, noisy, and may contain second hand smoke. Work may be performed in small areas with a 3 ft. wide access. These tasks include the maintenance and care of assigned area. Constant contact with fellow Team Members and Guests.
