Job Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 5am - 5pm (Must Work on Saturday's)

Job Pay: $16.00 hour

We are currently looking to hire bilingual machine operators for our customers Extrusion Manufacturing Plant. The Twisting Machine Operator will be responsible for tending to multiple machines on their shift.Responsibilities:

• Some duties will consist of machine setup and change over.
• The operator will feed product into the machine.
• Operators are required to meet the daily production goals
• Operators will rotate machine assignments and share daily duties within the team.
• Operators will keep production logs up to date for each shift and are responsible for the quality of the product they are producing.
• The operator is responsible for notifying the shift lead if there are any machine issues that need to be addressed with the maintenance department.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years old
• Must pass 10 panel drug screen (marijuana is included)
• Ability to read and understand work orders in English.
• Ability to write in English to complete written records for quality checks and/or material use, as required.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to effectively communicate mechanical issues to maintenance personnel.
• Ability to effectively communicate quality issues to lead person.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to successfully become forklift certified upon hire.
