Responsibilities:

Warmly greet and assist patients upon their arrival, facilitating smooth check-in procedures.
Record patient payments accurately in an Excel sheet and reconcile totals daily.
Verify insurance coverage for Medicare patients exclusively.
Handle incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and efficiently schedule appointments as needed.
Ensure meticulous maintenance of medical records and correspondence documentation.

Qualifications:

Demonstrated proficiency in customer service
Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
Proficient with EMR system - EMA software a plus
Familiarity with basic computer applications, including the Microsoft Office suite
Previous experience in a dermatology or plastic surgery practice is a must

Hours:

Monday through Friday: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm with a one-hour paid lunch break
One Saturday every other month is paid at a time and a half
