Direct Support Professional

ATC is looking for a Direct Support Professional to assist with the IDD population in a residential setting located in Boothwyn, PA! We are looking for experienced DSPs to work with the IDD population in a residential setting!

Available Ongoing Schedules: 

• Shift #1: Mon 2p-9p, Tues 2p-12a, Fri 4p-9p
• Shift #2: Mon 4p-12a, Tues 4p-9p, Thurs 4p-12a
• Shift #3: Sat 9a-9p and Sunday 9a-9p (Flexible with every weekend or every other weekend)

**PRN option is available as well! 

Job Duties:

• Implements goals and procedural objectives
• Implements and documents all aspects of the individuals’ needs including personal hygiene
• Provides a safe, healthy, clean environment and provides supervision to the individuals
• Functions at all times as an advocate
• Performs dietary duties, i.e. food preparation and clean up
• Performs laundry duties, i.e. personal clothing and linens
• Performs housekeeping/cleaning duties
• May be assigned to various work areas, which may include site addresses that differ from the originally scheduled site.

• Compensation: $19/hr weekdays and 20/hr weekends

A High school diploma or GED is required as is at least six month’s experience as a direct support staff in a group home setting.

 CREDENTIALS

• Current CPR and First Aid 
• Abuse Clearances (may include child abuse clearances)
• State Criminal History Clearance
• FBI Fingerprints
• Current physical exam with "Free of Communicable Diseases" statement
• TB Screening and baseline testing (PPD or blood test), some programs
• Certification of Completion: Direct Care Staff Training Course and Competency for some programs.
