Reports to: Non-Ferrous Supervisor/Yard Manager

Summary:

Actively participate in the day-to-day operation of the recycling facility which includes the de-manufacturing of appliances and vehicles for recycling as well as the grading and purchasing of recyclable metals. The successful candidate must possess excellent communication skills, be willing and able to assist and educate suppliers with inbound material questions.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience operating forklifts, wheel loaders, and skid-steer loaders not required, but preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with the public, co-workers, and vendors.
• Highly motivated, takes initiative to make sound decisions based off training, critical thinking, and information available.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 lbs and 100+lbs on a 2-person lift.
• Work outside in various elements.
