Job Description

Equipment Mechanic Trainee

Location: Indianapolis, IN 46219

15+ Months Contract

Rate: $15 Per hour

Required:

· High school graduate or possess GED certificate

· Must have a valid Indiana driver's license

· Ability to lift and move heavy automotive objects

· Ability to communicate and follow instructions

· Ability to distinguish and determine colors and sounds

· Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

· Ability to work in close and confined areas

· Ability to maintain confidentiality

DUTIES

• Perform the following repairs or preventative maintenance work on any of the following: 3-prong accessories, antennas, camera systems, deck lights, flashlight systems, fuses, light bars, mirror lights, motorcycle and trailer wiring, computer docking station and radio equipment.

• Maintain various logs.

• Use diagnostic equipment to trouble-shoot and find problems in the commission.

• Test drive commission to ensure it is in working order.

• Perform building custodian duties as required by the Division or District Commander.

• Perform other duties as required.
