Construction Accounting Assistant
- $60,000 to $80,000 Yearly
- Full-Time
This position is located in Fort Myers, FL, and will require you to relocate to the area.
We are seeking a Construction Accounting Assistant to become an integral part of our team! You will support the accounting personnel, handle accounts payable duties, and provide accounting and clerical functions.
Job Description:
- Review high-volume AP invoice registers for correct postings and amounts
- Process AP invoices on demand
- Review check batches to ensure the accuracy of requirements
- Involved in all day-to-day aspects of accounting functions
- Assist with lien release collection and review as necessary
- Review and Process Credit Card Payments
- Certified Payroll review, as necessary
- Produce ad hoc reports
- Draft AIA Contracts
- Backcharge review and posting
- NTO posting oversite
- Ensure Owner Changes are added to AIA
- Process Monthly AIA owner requisitions
- Review and Distribute Lien releases to the owner
- Project setup – Budget and AIA
- Assist with Annual Audit
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in accounting software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Proficient in Adobe
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a Related Field
- Five years or more of related experience is required.
