Our client, a leader in the aviation industry, is seeking a skilled Avionics Technician to join their team in Charlotte, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with avionics systems repair and installations in corporate aircraft settings.
Responsibilities:
- Perform avionics systems repair and installations.
- Conduct troubleshooting of corporate aircraft avionics systems.
- Configure systems and utilize test equipment for checks.
- Install wire bundles and wiring harnesses.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and customers, requiring strong communication skills.
- Upload navigation databases, charts, and EGPWS systems.
- Complete any other assigned duties as needed.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in avionics systems.
- Proficiency in reading wiring schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of sheet metal work is an advantage.
- Willingness to work overtime and be on weekend standby as required.
- Ability to procure and maintain necessary tools.
- Experience with wiring harness layout and fabrication.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A&P Certificate is a plus.
- Training in electrical installation and troubleshooting is beneficial.
