We are looking to fill the role of Golf Simulator Installer as we continue to grow our Operations team. This is a fast-paced role with the opportunity for professional growth. The Golf Simulator Installer will report to the Sr. Installation Manager and be responsible for the assembly and installation of Uneekor’s golf simulators for various locations in the United States.


Responsibilities

  • Review and create installation plans and project specifications to understand the scope of work, equipment requirements, and site conditions prior to installation.
  • Travel to various installation sites throughout the United States, including residential, commercial, and other environments.
  • Assemble and install Uneekor’s golf simulator components, including screens, projectors, sensors, and hitting mats, according to manufacturer guidelines and technical specifications.
  • Install and connect electrical wiring and components, such as power sources and cables to ensure safe and reliable operation of Uneekor’s golf simulator system.
  • Configure network settings and establish connectivity between the simulator components, ensuring seamless communication and integration for gameplay.
  • Calibrate sensors, cameras, and tracking systems to ensure accurate and responsive gameplay experiences, conducting thorough testing to verify system functionality and performance.
  • Conduct quality checks and inspections throughout the installation process to ensure that all components are installed correctly, securely, and in compliance with safety standards.
  • Interact with clients during the installation process, providing guidance on system operation, troubleshooting common issues, and addressing any questions or concerns for client satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of installation activities, including equipment serial numbers, installation dates, and client signoffs, for warranty purposes and future reference.



Qualifications/Knowledge/Critical Skills

  • Must have previous experience with installation and assembly of golf simulators.
  • Basic technical aptitude and proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as following technical diagrams and instructions for assembly.
  • Proficient in trade skills relative to construction, electrical, carpentry, flooring, etc.
  • Extensive travel throughout the United States, with an estimated completion time of 5 days for each project.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing installation tasks, ensuring precise alignment and proper configuration of equipment components.
  • Ability to troubleshoot common installation issues and resolve technical challenges independently.
  • Effective communication skills to interact professionally with clients, providing clear instructions, explanations, and updates throughout the installation process.
  • Good physical condition and stamina to perform installation tasks, including lifting, carrying, and maneuvering heavy equipment and materials, as well as working in various positions and environments.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment, contributing to a positive and innovative team culture.


Physical Demands/Environmental Factors

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
  • Ability to constantly work on their feet and at elevated heights using equipment such as ladders.
  • Must frequently lift and/or move up to 200 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Up to 75% travel.
