QUALITY ENGINEER

Quality Engineer - Experienced quality engineer with an emphasis in aerospace manufacturing. This is a full-time day-shift position.

Responsibilities:

• Identify new and unique quality processes or inspection techniques and prepare inspection and test instructions for the inspections.
• Interpret blueprint and technical specifications.
• Review Job Travelers and or work instructions to assure flow down of quality requirements.
• Analyze areas of quality cost and implement root-cause corrective action for overall reduction in quality cost.
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of statistical process control techniques.
• The applicant must possess good verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work with others in a team environment, and be highly self-motivated. Applicant should have a forward-thinking mindset, thrive on challenge, and be able to think "outside the box". Strong work ethic is a must.

Requirements:

• A technical degree in engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing or Quality) or 5 years experience as a Quality Engineer
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer is a plus
• Proficient in 3D CAD Software: NX and CATIA
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and MSWord with efficient keyboarding skills
• Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen
• Experience in aerospace industry is a plus
• Ability to prioritize workload
• Applicant must be knowledgeable and experienced in manufacturing processes
