Business Systems Analyst/Test Analyst

 A global financial services company is seeking a Business Systems Analyst on a long-term temporary basis for their office in Tampa, FL

This role will work directly with the Tech Implementations team and Product team in support of client certification testing.  The position will also provide support for our internal users and communicate details about releases, known issues, and new features within the tool.

Skills Needed:

·       Strong knowledge of developing and supporting testing plans, scripts, and tools.

·       Proficient in fundamental programming concepts is key to getting up to speed quickly.

·       Ability to interpret technical programming specifications and translate into business logic

·       Knowledge of payment processing is a plus but not required

·       Experience using the Rule Designer development environment of IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM) or a similar tool is a strong plus

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professional with a diverse group of executives, business analysts, product managers, and subject matter experts

·       Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines

·       Test solutions and determine whether requirements have been met and align with technical specifications

Responsibilities include: 

·       Acts as resource that can transcribe technical specs into written payment processing test scripts for clients to follow.  A variety of tools and systems will be used to house these test scripts (e.g., IBM’s ODM application).  

·       Responsible for successful conversions of tech specs and processing requirements into automated test scripts / rules.   

·       Ability to learn nuisances of payment processing environment, and the Payment Brand Industry (PBI), to craft test scripts to validate protocols, formats, and product functionality.

·       Support the client merchants’ certification requirements to ensure software integration meets all product and service standards for feature set, connectivity, industry, and regulation standards.  Thoroughly analyzes data transmitted to the certification host, and publishes results to clients in a systematic manner.

·       Partners with the Technical Implementation Analysts and/or payment processing subject matter experts via e-mail, conference calls, and telepresence.
