Senior Tableau Analyst

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Hybrid Schedule: 3 days in Cincinnati office (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday) / 2 days remote (Wednesday & Friday).

Job Summary

The PatientPoint Data and Analytics team is in an exciting season of building and growing its offerings for internal business partners and external clients. We are actively looking to add an experienced Data Visualization Analyst to our already engaged and committed team.

What You'll Do

• Create and edit visual content including maps, charts, and graphs.
• Transform data sets, quantitative and qualitative analysis into compelling visuals and related data tables.
• Collaboration with data modelers to create naming standards, data column organization, and documentation to create governed data sources to be used for business partner self-service data access and out of box visuals.
• Creation of standards to be used across PatientPoint visualization platforms and outputs.
• Administration of Tableau cloud, user maintenance, and data connection setup and monitoring during business hours and rotating non-core hours as needed.
• Work closely with PatientPoint product managers and business partners to develop and promote content including reports, briefs, statues, and visual data.
• Work through iterative review cycles to deliver results that meet or exceed user expectations.
• Conduct unit tests and development of database queries to analyze the effects and troubleshoot any issues.

What We Need

• 3+ years professional experience
• Proficiency creating Tableau data sources, reports and dashboards
• Proficiency writing SQL queries and other tools to extract data is required.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development and/or Project Management Life Cycle in an agile based environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or similar course of study.
• Experience in HTML / CSS / JavaScript.
• Ability to understand and read Python and other scripting languages.
• Knowledge of the MVC design pattern.
• Expertise with charting and other data visualization techniques.
• Experience in administration and standards enforcement of Tableau or other cloud-based visualization tool, such as PowerBI or Cognos.
• Understanding of healthcare data
