Job Summary:
CMA is seeking a Senior Tableau Certified Administrator responsible for maintaining Tableau environments in both Windows and Linux environments in GCP Cloud and on-premises. The role involves managing Tableau software upgrades, monitoring server performance, and implementing disaster recovery procedures.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Maintain various Tableau environments in both Windows and Linux environments in GCP Cloud and on-premises.
โ€ข Perform installation configuration and maintenance of Tableau servers in Windows servers and Google Cloud.
โ€ข Manage Tableau software upgrades and patch management.
โ€ข Monitor and troubleshoot Tableau server performance issues and monitor Tableau Server performance metrics like CPU usage, memory utilization, and query response times.
โ€ข Identify and address performance bottlenecks.
โ€ข Troubleshoot and perform Tableau node disaster recovery tasks.
โ€ข Develop and automate daily Tableau maintenance scripts for taking backups and managing resources like log file cleanup etc.
โ€ข Experience in implementing Tableau SSO via SAML using ADFS.
โ€ข Experience in implementing Tableau SSO via SAML using Google Identity Provider (IDP).
โ€ข Experience in implementing Tableau SSO using OpenID Connect.
โ€ข Perform Tableau User Management activities and site administration activities.
โ€ข Manage regular backups of Tableau Server data and configuration and automate the backup in both Windows and GCP Linux environments.

Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข 8+ years of experience in setting up Tableau multi-node high availability clusters using Windows servers and Linux servers in cloud environments like GCP.
โ€ข 3 years Data Warehouse experience.
โ€ข 3 years Medicaid experience.
โ€ข Strong understanding of Tableau Server Enterprise deployment Architecture and Administration features.
โ€ข Proficiency in system administration tasks including network configuration and security best practices.
โ€ข Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical users.

โ€ข 8+ years of experience with Oracle RDBMS and Unix Shell Scripting.
โ€ข 8+ years of strong experience with PL/SQL.
โ€ข Experience with scripting languages like Python.
โ€ข Proven experience in developing complex data-driven visually appealing tableau analytical dashboards.
โ€ข Experience with Cloud databases like Google BigQuery and Snowflake etc.
โ€ข Ability to interpret technical or dashboard structure and translate complex business requirements to technical specifications.
โ€ข Understanding of advanced calculations and statistical functions.
โ€ข A solid understanding of SQL, relational database management systems, data modeling, and normalization.
โ€ข Strong communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, or related field.
โ€ข Experience with Tableau architecture and administration is preferred.
โ€ข Experience with other BI tools such as OBIEE.
โ€ข Medicaid or any healthcare-related project experience.
