Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tableau Developer with 10+ years of experience in data visualization, backend development, data validation, and documentation in the banking domain. The ideal candidate will have strong Tableau Dashboard designing skills, SQL skills, a deep understanding of database systems, and excellent presentation skills to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders. Familiarity with SAS and Python would be preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
โ€ข Tableau Development: Design, develop, and optimize interactive Tableau dashboards and reports.
โ€ข Backend & Data Processing: Work with large datasets, ensuring efficient extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) Tableau Prep processes.
โ€ข SQL & Database Management: Write complex SQL queries, optimize database performance, and ensure data accuracy.
โ€ข Data Validation & Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough data validation and testing to maintain high data integrity.
โ€ข Documentation & Reporting: Create detailed documentation for dashboards, data processes, and business logic.
โ€ข Presentation & Stakeholder Communication: Present findings and dashboards to business leaders, translating data insights into actionable recommendations.
โ€ข Collaboration: Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
โ€ข 10+ years of experience in Tableau development and data visualization is a must.
โ€ข Strong SQL ,Tableau, Tableau Prep (writing complex queries, performance tuning, data modeling).
โ€ข Experience with backend development and handling large datasets.
โ€ข Expertise in data validation and ensuring high data quality.
โ€ข Strong documentation skills to maintain clear and structured reports.
โ€ข Excellent presentation and communication skills to interact with stakeholders.
โ€ข Experience with ETL processes and working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
โ€ข Knowledge of Tableau Server administration is a plus.
โ€ข Familiarity with Python, R, or other scripting languages for data automation is an advantage.
