Position Objective

The IT Analyst will:

Work to become the system and interface expert of our warehouse management systems and the primary point of contact for our Distribution Center Operations Team. Our analyst will understand the systems that support our day-to-day distribution operations, perform day to day system fitness and troubleshooting, data management, minor and major enhancements, along with interface support and development.

This is an onsite 1st shift position. Remote option is not available

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES (position responsibilities):

• Work closely with IT senior analysts to solution new systems and interfaces
• Independently research and fact find in support of modifications or enhancements
• Code, test and debug in the required environment
• Develop estimates for projects to be performed
• Participate in on-call support rotation for moderate to critical system issues
• Interface frequently with business partners concerning their needs
• Maintain knowledge of Kaplan's Supply Chain technologies & new technologies
• Create and maintain technical documentation

HIGHLY PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Related Field
• Experience in application development or support of a Warehouse Management System (HighJump/Koerber Warehouse Advantage, Koerber One Software, RedPrairie, Manhattan Associates, etc.)
• Proficiency in SQL (Microsoft SQL)

PREFERRED EXPERIENCES

• Experience with HighJump's (Koerber's) WebWise Page Editor and/or Advantage Architect toolset
• Experience with designing and developing RESTRESTful APIs
• Koerber Security Experience
• Scanner, Material Handling, Sortation Software Experience
• Bartender Labeling
• SSRS Reporting
• Voice (Vocolletx, TopVox, Voxware)
• ERP Interface Experience a plus
• Understanding of Supply Chain and Warehousing concepts
• RF Gun Experience
• Advanced Problem-solving skills
• Ability to work on complex assignments as part of a team
• Familiar with Relational Database Concepts (Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers)
• Understanding of end-to-end Warehouse processes from a functional as well as technical standpoint.
• Ability to show a high degree of initiative, to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs
• Self-management and task prioritization capabilities
