Reports To

Senior Director of Research, Prospect Management and Analytics

Position Purpose

Join the OHSU Foundation as a Senior Prospect Management Analyst and play a crucial role in advancing our mission through prospect management and analytics. In this role, you will drive the identification and analysis of potential donors, while also optimizing portfolios for assigned partners to maximize fundraising efforts.


As part of the Research and Prospect Management team, you will not only oversee the tracking of prospects in our fundraising database but also lead training sessions to ensure effective use of the systems.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Optimize Donor Engagement Strategies - You will act as a strategic partner to gift officers, optimizing portfolios and developing targeted outreach strategies that foster major and transformational gift relationships.
  • Implement Solutions - Collaborate with development officers, fundraising leadership, and other internal partners to understand specific portfolio needs. Your role will involve crafting and implementing innovative solutions that will address moves management and fundraising strategies.
  • Analyze and Forecast Prospect Pool Trends - Monitor the prospect pool, provide insightful forecasts, and deliver relevant analyses to optimize portfolio performance.

Experience

We want to emphasize that there is no such thing as the perfect candidate; candidates who do not have all of the required experience are encouraged to apply.

Experience

  • Experience with major- and principal-gift level strategy development, prospect management, research, and prospecting
  • 5-7 years in a development research and prospect management office or related experience, preferably in healthcare, higher education or complex non-profit environment
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint; advanced skills preferred.
  • Experience working in a relational database (Raiser’s Edge or Salesforce Affinaquest preferred).

Working Environment:

  • Position is remote or hybrid-eligible with some travel to OHSU Foundation on occasion/as requested
  • Occasional hours outside of normal work hours for meetings or programs
  • Prolonged use of computer

Pay

         


Salary is dependent on experience. Each salary band is broken into three "steps," which correspond with an employee’s experience/tenure, proficiency and performance in that specific role. New employees will typically start at step I of our pay band to allow for later growth, although more experienced candidates may be eligible to start at step II or III. The OHSU Foundation has a structured process for determining starting compensation, taking into account years of related experience, applicable skills, knowledge and abilities, market parity, and internal equity.
