Elite Performance Staffing is seeking a motivated Professional-level Structural Engineer to assist with complex and challenging projects at various locations in the Midwest area and throughout the United States and become an integral part of our team of highly skilled professionals.

• The investigation and analysis of residential, commercial and industrial properties for the purpose of resolving claims and legal matters.

• Assignments may include contract disputes, installation deficiencies, material deficiencies, site evaluations, settlement investigations, structural assessments and vibration analyses.

• Gathering photographic evidence, conducting investigations to document on-site conditions, overseeing field-testing and reviewing historical documentation

• Preparation of oral and written reports to document the causes of failure, extent of loss, associated repair scope and recommended remediation are essential as is providing opinions and expert testimony in litigation matters.

- Bachelors Degree in Civil, Structural, Construction or Architectural Engineering.

- PE License in Tennessee, required.

- NCEES record, preferred.

- Must reside in the Knoxville, TN area or be willing to relocate.

- Testimony experience, preferred.

- Experience handling litigation/investigation, preferred.

- Knowledge of fundamental architectural and/or engineering principles, construction and building component assemblies

- Must be willing to travel .

- Milage paid along with expenses for overnight travel.

- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and able to perform inspections in confined spaces.

- Must be able to inspect building roof structures.
