Senior Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Summary: Performs quality control measures for curriculum products via print or media; assists with development and/or revision of online course materials; coordinates project workflow internally and externally between writers and subject matter experts.

Major Accountabilities:

• Coordinates project workflow internally and externally between writers and subject matter experts; serves as communication liaison between SME’s, other writing professionals, and vendors
• Proofreads and edits all curriculum related products via print and multi-media including course material (new/revised), exams, audios, coaching guides, webinars, podcasts, and other marketing or client-related products
• Assists with design, development and implementation of content including integration of writer and designer revisions to produce a final product
• Coordinates development and integration of audio into course material, ensuring accuracy of content at all times
• Reviews exams for accuracy following course revisions; creates and imports new exams in Articulate; resolves outstanding issues with writers and SMEs
• Creates individual PDFs of content of all module content to include CMR logo, tag line, copywrite statement and page numbers
• Finalizes and archives all course components (content word document, exam word document, audio files)
• Manages curriculum databases including department contacts, current exam material, course/content information, article cataloging, copyright, subject matter experts, conference speakers
• Responsible for completion, submission, and follow through of copyright applications as required by the CPTO office
• Manages logistics and submissions for external course reviews by ACPE and/or continuing education to support compliance in programs including SafeRx, Chicago Pharma ordinance, and others as may be required
• Readily perform other duties as requested to support the organization’s vision, mission and to meet defined business objectives and bring innovative ideas to the organization and teams.

Minimum Education Required:

• Associate’s degree in English/Journalism; may consider high school diploma or equivalent

Minimum Years of Experience Required:

• 6 years in proofreading/editing/quality assurance role; working knowledge of Microsoft Office and database management
• Preferred: Experience in Articulate

Working Conditions:

Hybrid or Remote Environment based on physical location: professional office and/ or personal office.
