RESPONSIBILITIES
Create a medical plan of care
Follow physician ordered treatment plans
Implement physician ordered clinical interventions including ventilator care, tracheostomy care and feeding for example.
Monitor and assess the mental and medical needs of the students.
Oversee the health status of the students, including checking vitals/blood pressure, temperature, for example
Address immediate medical needs of the students. assist with mobility sitting and engagement as needed.
Manage medical equipment and technology. administer medications and treatments. change dressings, bandages and equipment as prescribed by physician.
Assist with self care and classroom routines.
Assist with toileting.
Employ emergency care and contact 911 as appropriate.
Collaborate with family and medical providers.
Document treatment notes that include start and end times each day. Complete and verify timesheets.
Follow North Carolina Board of nursing practice acts including technical and ethical guidelines/statutes.

LPN $ 32.00, RN 35 (more LPNs than RN) about 4 LPNS and 1 RNs
Contract but at least 1 year and may renew.
