Paralegal Clerk

Wilson Elser's New York Midtown office currently seeks a Paralegal Clerk.

This is an excellent position for those seeking to gain experience with an office of a national law firm, especially for those considering attending law school in 2 - 3 years.

The Position

Qualifications
•Bachelor's degree preferred
•Prior professional or office experience; experience with a law firm is a plus
•Able to self-prioritize and adhere to deadlines
•Strong verbal (including telephone) and written communication skills
•Must be detail oriented and capable of managing multiple projects for different attorneys
•Must demonstrate the ability to adhere to deadlines
•Must communicate and cooperate with all members of a case team
•Proficiency in MS Office Suite

Responsibilities
•Prepare medical record requests
•Maintain spreadsheets tracking document requests and completions
•Telephone medical providers to request medical records
•Organize and maintain case files
•Review incoming medical records for accuracy
•Update electronic files

The annualized salary range for this position is $45,000 to $65,000.Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
