Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager to oversee all aspects of our stone countertop fabrication and installation operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management, team leadership, and operations optimization within the construction or manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Management:

• Coordinate all aspects of countertop fabrication and installation projects from inception to completion.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely delivery and installation of countertops.
• Monitor project budgets and expenses to ensure profitability and cost-effectiveness.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or inquiries.

1. Team Leadership:

• Supervise and motivate a team of fabrication technicians, installers, and support staff.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and training as needed.
• Foster a culture of safety, quality, and professionalism among team members.

• Continuously evaluate and improve fabrication and installation processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Implement best practices and standard operating procedures to streamline operations.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and waste reduction throughout the production process.

1. Quality Assurance:

• Ensure that all fabricated countertops meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
• Implement quality control measures to detect and address any defects or issues during fabrication and installation.
• Conduct post-installation inspections to confirm customer satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.

1. Supplier and Vendor Management:

• Maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Negotiate pricing and terms to optimize procurement costs and lead times.
• Evaluate supplier performance and identify opportunities for improvement or alternative sourcing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in operations management, project management, or a similar role within the construction or manufacturing industry.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Solid understanding of construction and fabrication processes, particularly related to stone countertops.
