Position Overview

We are hiring a Countertop Sales Assistant / Expeditor to support our sales and operations team. This hybrid role combines customer-facing sales support with project coordination and order fulfillment. Youll help turn customer inquiries into beautiful installed countertops while ensuring projects stay on schedule and meet our quality standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Support: Greet customers (in-person, phone, and email), qualify leads, schedule showroom appointments, and assist with material/color selections.
  • Quoting & Estimating: Prepare accurate quotes, take measurements (or coordinate with install teams), and create proposals using our quoting tools.
  • Order Expediting: Schedule countertop measures. Coordinate with our production department to maintain timelines.
  • Project Coordination: Manage job files, communicate updates to customers, resolve issues promptly, and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Showroom Support: Help maintain a clean, organized, and inviting showroom. Assist customers with product samples and displays.
  • Administrative Tasks: Process paperwork, update job management systems, handle inbound inquiries, and support the sales and operations teams as needed.
  • Quality Control: Conduct pre- and post-installation checks and gather customer feedback.


Qualifications

  • Experience:1+ years in sales, customer service, or project coordination (home improvement, kitchen/bath, countertops, cabinetry, or building materials preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills, following a structured process.
  • Comfortable using MAC computer with basic software, CRM/job tracking software.
  • Professional, friendly communication style with the ability to build trust with customers.
  • Ability to read basic blueprints/drawings and take field measurements is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid drivers license and clean driving record (occasional local travel for measurements or site visits may be required).
