Star Lumber & Supply Co., Inc. has a long and distinguished history of providing products for the commercial and residential construction industry. Star expanded into the Oklahoma market in 2007 with its flooring sales showroom and serves the region with the same focus on customer service that has made Star Lumber successful for over 80 years.


Our Oklahoma City team has opened a new countertop fabrication facility, and we are searching for experienced Countertop polishers/fabricators to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to work in a collaborative team environment to create an efficient and productive manufacturing operation.


Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload pieces of stone countertops on and off carts.
  • Operate hand polishers, grinders, and hand saws to achieve desired quality of finished goods.
  • Visually inspect pieces for chips, scratches, lines, imperfections, and fix with polishing methods.
  • Measure all pieces to make sure they match the templated measurements.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workplace and perform regular equipment inspections and maintenance per manufacturer guidelines.
  • Using basic computer programs to perform daily workflow scheduling.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in a countertop manufacturing environment
  • Countertop polishing
  • Forklift experience

This position will regularly lift 50 pounds individually and 100 pounds as part of a team lift. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, bend, and stoop. Regular exposure to cold, hot, wet, dry and/or humid conditions
