Medical Assistant
- $16 to $18 Hourly
- Full-Time
- Uploads ALL lab/xray reports (including EEG, Sleep Study, MRI/CTS).
Provider Schedules- Ensures all reports are attached to the chart prior to their visits by referrer to provider’s schedule for the next day.
Phone calls- Treat direct calls within job description. For all other calls take messages or triage. Roll over call back up.
Emails/Voicemails- Treats emails/voicemails related to job description.
Sends Orders- Send ALL Orders to lab company/imaging companies (including EEG, Sleep Study, MRI/CTS).
Roll Over Back Up- Helps with high call volume. Treats call within job descriptions, takes a message or triage for all other calls. Receptionist lunch releaser. Back up
Medications- Treats Rx refills via email, check PMP if needed- coordinate with Simi to complete controlled Rx refills.
Answer Medical Calls- Treat direct calls within job description. For all other calls take messages or triage.
Emails/Voicemails- Treats emails/voicemails related to job description.
Office task- Assist with other office tasks as needed: scanning & faxing.
Cover My Meds- Completed Rx Prior Auth if all other work is completed and denials.
Cantab Prior Auths- Commercial insurances
Medical Records Request- Sends Medical Records Requests
