Quality Control Inspector

QC Inspector

We are looking for a Quality Control Inspector. The company provides its products to the aerospace, military communication, TV broadcast, and NMR. 

Location: Camarillo, CA
Salary: $18.00 - 20.00/hr (DOE)
Schedule: Mon-Fri 7.30 am - 4.00 pm with possible overtime

Responsibilities:

• Perform QA (quality assurance) inspection for all outgoing material. Ensure all product that leaves our facility meets our high-quality standards.
• Perform incoming inspection for all raw materials. Ensure all products we receive meet the requirements in the Purchase order (PO) and per the engineering drawing provided to the supplier.
• Perform in-process quality inspection. Inspect products between manufacturing processes to ensure that no additional work is performed on nonconforming material/product.
• Record-keeping for quality. Keep track of our quality so that we can see if our quality is being maintained, improving, or worsening. May require computer data entry.

Requirements:

• Comfortable working under a microscope for an 8-hour shift.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment (electronics manufacturing preferred).
• Detail-oriented.
• Experience in quality and inspection.
• Familiar with mechanical inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, etc.
• Assembly experience is a plus but not required.
• IPC-610 certification is a plus but not required.
