Technical Support Engineer

What does a Techinical Support Engineer do?

The Technical Support Engineer will play a key role in providing hardware, software, and telephone support for all employees. This position will maintain the computer database as well as setup and configuration of computers for new/existing users while maintaining Integrity, Candor, Accountability, Respect and Excellence.

What does your day-to-day look like?

• Provide technical client support with passion and smile
• Troubleshoot and resolve application/printer errors that may occur
• Create new users and setup new computers
• Develops and prepares computer solutions as directed
• Repair/arrange for repair and service computers and IT equipment
• Strong aptitude in computer repairs, spy ware and virus removal, hardware, upgrades, and troubleshooting
• Troubleshooting, documenting, and escalating bugs to be fixed
• Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions
• Help to create an environment of high morale, motivation, and teamwork
• Other duties as assigned

What do you need to possess?

• Knowledge of proper grammar, spelling, and rules of composition
• Working knowledge and understanding of the following:
  Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook (Office 365)
  Microsoft Windows 10/11
  Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019
  TCP/IP networking (general knowledge)
  Soft phone system setup and maintenance
• Ability to organize and complete work in a timely manner
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
• Ability to work independently and with other team members
• Must show attention to detail
• Must have capacity building mindset or willingness to learn and change with Supplemental Health Care
• Must be able to work for prolonged periods of sitting, typing and use of the phone and computer
• Must successfully complete onboarding training/tutorials and attend future webcasts/trainings as required

Pay Range: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour (depending on experience)
