Description/Job Summary

PURPOSES SPECIFIC TO THE POSITION
To assist the information technology department in operating and maintaining various computer and network systems and perform other office duties as needed.

RELATIONSHIPS

Reports to Information Technology Management.
Directs - none
Cooperates or coordinates with all persons both within and outside the cooperative as deemed necessary to carry out the responsibilities of the position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES

Operates and maintains various networks and computer systems to assure continued operational status.
Works within the information technology department to ensure the highest level possible of helpdesk support and other technical services to our end users and members while providing effective communication.
Protects the confidential information within the Cooperative in strict confidence and will exercise reasonable care to prevent disclosure to others.
Requires ability and willingness to work in a wide range of environments and postures.
Requires ability and willingness to lift light and medium loads occasionally and assist with heavy loads rarely.
Requires a valid driver's license and ability to operate cooperative vehicles.
Performs a wide range of support functions including organizing materials, cleaning PCs, etc.
Requires ability to effectively use basic hand tools.
Performs other duties as requested or required by the position.
