Job Summary:

Trileaf is seeking a Group Manager to lead the Cultural Resources Group. This individual should have applied knowledge of Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), specifically related to telecommunications projects and experience leading a team of Cultural Resource Specialists. This position will be at our Corporate Office in St. Louis, MO, however we are open to this position being located at one of our other offices nationwide (Austin, TX; Phoenix, AZ; Schaumburg, IL; Baltimore, MD; Atlanta, GA; Orlando, FL or Denver, CO).

Essential Job Functions:

  • Lead and manage the Cultural Resources team, ensuring effective allocation of resources and timely completion of project deliverables.
  • Accountable for hiring (or promoting), training, and supervision of multiple Project Managers
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of Project Management principles
  • Maintain and improve training materials
  • Completing report reviews and QA/QC
  • Develop and implement archaeological research plans, methodologies, and protocols.
  • Marketing to new and existing clients
  • Preparation of proposals and oversight of complex projects such as balloon tests, NR nominations, and archaeological monitoring
  • Oversight of continued profitability of the group, ensuring appropriate team and resource allocation
  • End of year summary data and financial projections
  • Oversight of the team’s monthly and yearly financial status
  • Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

To be considered, the resume of the applicant must demonstrate the following qualifications/skills:

  • Meet or exceed the Secretary of the Interior Standards (36 CFR 61) in archaeology
  • Expert familiarity with regulations of Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), and State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA), and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA)
  • Stay up updated with the latest advancements, regulations, and best practices in archaeology and cultural resources management.
  • 2+ years management experience
  • Self motivated, quick learning, and flexible with a common-sense approach to conducting business and workload management
  • Ability and willingness to travel (travel not expected to exceed 2-3 days at a time)
  • Thorough working knowledge of Office 365 software programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, detail oriented and recognized organizational abilities
  • Be an independent worker dedicated to excellence
  • Valid driver’s license

Education:

  • Master’s degree or higher in archaeology, anthropology, or architectural history
