Process Engineer

1888 Industrial Services is looking for a dedicated Process Engineer. Applications will be accepted until May 1, 2024.

Essential Functions

• Select, size and design elements of the specialty processes.
• Plan, direct, manage and execute process design processes in an ethical, creative and critical manner.
• Prepare basic and detailed conceptual engineering documents.
• Lead the bidding processes as responsible for compliance with the delivery of documentation in the required time.
• Directly responsible for the design, conception and approval of P&ID and PFD in the bidding and/or engineering execution stages of the projects.
• Directly responsible for approving design, control and operation philosophies.
• Directly responsible for defining design bases and criteria in the bidding and/or engineering execution stages of the projects.
• Prepare the documents required according to the requests for requirements during the presentation of offers for the design, construction of equipment, assembly, pre- and commissioning and/or start-up.
• Serve as support to prepare proposals for design, equipment construction, assembly, pre. and commissioning and/or start-up.
• During the development of basic and detailed engineering, you will be responsible, according to your specialty, for designing and approving the corresponding projects to be presented to the client and once the design has been tested, it will be manufactured.
• Serve as support for all manufacturing stages of different systems or processes.
• Serve as support for the assembly, start-up and operation stages of the designed system.
• Report daily the activities carried out, recording the most relevant events of the day during the development of bidding processes or development of basic and detailed engineering of projects and when support is provided to the stages of assembly, equipment manufacturing, pre- and commissioning and commissioning. • Directly responsible under their specialty for the documents that are required in tenders and are entrusted for their development.

• Propose improvement processes.
• Verify, ensure and report to your direct boss any technical deviation that may affect the development of engineering, equipment manufacturing, assembly, pre- and commissioning and start-up of any bidding process and/or project in execution.
• The other functions that are assigned and those that are given due to the needs of the service, in accordance with the nature of the position.
• Approve value proposals aimed at new technologies, relying on research and development strategies that lead to the development of products and/or processes that increase the company's value proposition.
• Specify objectives and metrics according to your specialty to control, monitor and manage the progress of all processes.
• Motivate process participants to obtain their best performance.
• Be involved to identify opportunities, problems (and their causes) and possible improvements or solutions needed.
• Take responsibility for the daily management of processes.
