Automotive Service Advisor

Job Summary:
As an Automotive Service Advisor at Lamoille Valley Chevrolet, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and managing the repair and maintenance process for our valued customers. This is a full-time position located in Hyde Park, Vermont and is a vital role in ensuring our customers receive the best automotive services possible. This is an individual contributor role, reporting directly to the Service Manager.

Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time hourly position with competitive pay based on experience and qualifications also bonuses and commission available. Benefits package includes health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and employee discounts on products and services.  This position is a 4 day work week Tuesday - Friday giving you long weekends every weekend!!!!

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assess their automotive needs
- Provide estimates for repairs and maintenance services
- Schedule appointments and manage service appointments
- Communicate with technicians regarding timelines and updates on repairs
- Advise customers on necessary repairs and preventative maintenance
- Process payments and maintain accurate records of service appointments and repairs
- Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction
- Monitor inventory and place orders for necessary parts
- Maintain a clean and organized service area
- Stay current on product and industry knowledge

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in automotive service or sales preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Proficient in computer skills and ability to learn new software
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
