CCC has a hybrid/remote work philosophy. The selected candidate for this position will be working at least one to two days a week in our Danvers, MA headquarters with a targeted start date of June 3, 2024.

You will work on a variety of projects, including:

  • Curate titles of exemplary texts published by our rightsholders.
  • Research and pull text excerpts and articles from books, magazines, newspapers, and websites.
  • Align content with national and state standards.
  • Format content using a given template.
  • Record titles and meta data on an excel spreadsheet.
  • Add tags to the titles on RightFind Curriculum (both for intermediaries and schools).
  • Verify the title’s coverage using CCC’s online verification tool (RightFind Curriculum).
  • May be accountable for other results and activities as assigned.

Here’s what it takes to get started:

  • Must have completed at least one year of college. Third year or later Education major or Library Science major (preferably elementary or middle school education), prefered
  • Research Skills: ability to search various publisher databases and to discover high quality content (book excerpts and articles) that meets various ELA standards.
  • Background knowledge in the Common Core and/or the ability to understand select federal, state, and district ELA standards and apply those standards in discovering and selecting content from publisher databases.
  • Familiarity with various ELA EdTech tools or curriculum products a plus but not required.
  • Ability to use MS Office applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint for formatting and data entry.
