Job Title: Print Operator 29250

Position Type: Full Time, Regular

Shift: Mon-Fri 9am-6pm

Pay: $18hr

Special Requirement: Printing experience

Job Summary:

Under minimum supervision, responsible for ensuring customer work is completed on time and accurately, Experience using high-volume printers/copiers is a must. Experience with the Microsoft Office suite and Acrobat is also a must, as well as a working understanding of the fiery printing software. Must be skilled in multiple types of finishing: Wire-o; 3 hole drill, etc...)

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

• Ensure that job tickets are properly filled out before beginning work.
• Perform copy, print, minor scanning and intake functions as needed and according to established procedures.
• Communicate with supervisor or client on job or deadline issues.
• Proficient - Expert communication skills; especially when dealing with clients - On a daily basis: prioritize work assignments based on deadlines, overall site workload, machine capability and job needs.
• Meet negotiated deadlines for print requests.
• Competent - Proficient skill with Microsoft Office Suite, Windows OS and Adobe Acrobat
• Able to use Fiery equipment to produce high volume color finishes on published documents
• Use the functions on the printers (including advanced printing/copying software)
• Troubleshoot basic equipment problems.
• Perform basic printer upkeep including loading paper, replacing toner waste and/or staple cartridges, and clearing jams
• Processing printing requests (both hard copy and electronic), locating printing orders, and preparing orders for shipping

Key Skills:

• Able to use Fiery equipment to produce high volume color finishes on published documents
• Able to multi-task in a high volume reprographics environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School required
• Use the functions on the printers (including advanced printing/copying software)
• Operating binding equipment and performing finishing requests

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move up to 50lb with or without assistance
• Maintain all work logs for reporting purposes

Prior Helpful Experience May Include:

Print production, Print Technician, Print operator, Print Associate, Reprographics Specialist.

Pay Disclosure:

"The pay range for this position starts at $18hr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Bonus opportunities may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.”
